She started her professional life as a researcher within the TUBİTAK project, in 1995 and after a year she joined Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortaklığı, Exploration Group as a geological engineer. During 1996-2004 she played active role as a subsurface geologist of exploration projects and generated prospects and drilled exploration wells.
